Slithery Moray Eels

We saw these two moray eels in an ancient Hawaiian fishpond near Mauna Lani beach. One is sliding under the other one. Moray eels have rows of needle-sharp teeth in their exterior jaw--and an interior jaw that also has teeth. Among their favorite foods are fish and small crabs. At night, you can often see Morays slithering around the rocks on shore hunting for crabs. Photo by Debra.
